High Holy Days Services

As Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur quickly approach, Rabbi Jack and Debbye and the Etz Chaim Board Members are busy with spiritual and logistical planning. At Etz Chaim we strive to involve as many of our congregants as possible in the services. If you would like to read Torah, Haftorah, blow Shofar or participate in any other way, please contact Jack and Debbye at

zaney4jaz@aol.com

As with most Jewish Congregations in the U.S., formal membership is a requirement in order to attend Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services. We do not sell tickets to High Holy Day services. University Students are welcome as guests. We also welcome out of town guests with a letter from their home congregation. We encourage our Jewish out of town visitors to become Associate Members of Etz Çhaim. It is only with the support of the community, both with your financial gifts and gifts of volunteer time, that we are able to sustain our synagogue. Please note that no one will be denied
membership based solely on financial circumstances.

Please contact our Membership Chair, Stan Kessler, at info@etzchaimnwa.org to learn more about Etz Chaim and become part of our small, yet vibrant, Jewish community. We continue to strive to create a warm and welcoming environment, whether you are new to NWA or have been a long time resident.

We are in need of qualified and screen childcare providers for our children during the services. If you know of childcare providers who may be interested please contact Betsy at rosenfamily@cox.net.

Members, please watch your mailboxes for High Holiday information arriving mid to late August.
