We will look at clips of reality shows and tie it back to text from the Megillah.

"Pre-Passover Pot Luck featuring....
Beverages, basic ingredients for making Matzoh Brei (fried matzo), and toppings will be on hand.
Please bring a dairy/vegetarian (NO MEAT) side, salad or dessert to share (dish does not need to be Kosher for Passover).
Shlep an electric fry pan, colander and cooking utensils if you can and any special/secret ingredients for your Matzoh Brei.
Andy and Debra Ruben will lead a lively Jewish song session! We will have Passover Arts and Crafts!

Marjorie is the author of the books, “Popcorn Venus: Women, Movies and the American Dream,” a pioneering study of women's roles in American cinema, and “Mia & Woody: Love and Betrayal” (with Mia’s nanny), about the dissolution of the Farrow-Allen relationship. She was a movie critic for Ms. Magazine and has written about film and celebrity for such popular publications as The New York Times Magazine, Parade, Ms., New York, The New York Times "Arts & Leisure," The Daily News, Playboy, Good Housekeeping, The Los Angeles Times, and Glamour.
Marjorie just completed “Boom Town: How Wal-Mart Transformed an All-American Town into an International Community,” a study of multiculturalism in Bentonville, which will be in bookstores on October 1.

It is a compelling story of mother and daughter relationships. According to Jewish Book World, "The themes of love, sacrifice and family secrets are at the core of Blum's powerful first novel. This year CEC will once again have a booth at the Multicultural Fair on the Bentonville Square thanks to the support of Mark Levine and Aaron Markowitz, along with the Men's Club. Mark is looking for any Jewish items that you can lend to the booth, along with a brief description so that the Community can get a glimpse into a Jewish home. Sunday, April 26th at 4pm - Donation of a Torah/Reading Table from Beth Sholom in Memphis, TN.
Rabbi Aaron Rubinstein, his wife Sharona, their President Bruce Newman and Executive Director Barbara Newman will be making a trip to Bentonville to visit us and bring the Torah table. We will have a Meet and Greet, along with nosh, as our two Congregations form new connections. We are very excited to add a 2nd Torah table to the Bima to go along with the one we currently have that was generously donated by the Perlmans.
